The 8 Days Evangelical Tour in Israel
DAY 1 ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport, you will be met and assisted by TTS Representative. Continue to visit Old town of Jaffa (Joppa), the oldest port city in the world. Here St. Peter had his dream (Acts 10:9-16) to evangelize the Gentiles and where he brought Sabetha (Acts 9:36-43) back from the dead. Proceed to your hotel.

DAY 2 CAESAREA – MOUNT CARMEL- MEGIDDO – NAZARETH – CANA
Continue to Caesarea and ancient Herodian port city located on Israel’s Mediterranean coast to see the restored amphitheater. Proceed to Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18:16-40) and visit Muhraqa, where Elijah prayed for the Defeat of the 450 false Prophets of Ba’al. Onto Megiddo (Revelations 16:16) that mentioned in Revelations by the name of Armageddon. It is the site of the final confrontation between good and evil. Proceed to Nazareth (Luke 1:26-38), childhood home of Jesus. Visit the Mount of the leap – the site of the rejection of Jesus (Luke 4:29-30), and The Basilica of the Annunciation with its underground grotto where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced the forthcoming birth of Jesus. Onto the Arab Christian town of Cana (John 2:1-11), scene of Jesus’ First Miracle of turning water into wine at the wedding feast.

NAZERETH
DAY 3 MOUNT ARBEL – SEA OF GALILEE – MAGDALA – MOUNT OF BEATITUDES – CHORAZIM – TABGHA – BOAT RIDE
Proceed to Mount Arbel to see the view of the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. Continue to the village of Magdala, the home of Mary Madgalene and a very important archaeological finds has recently been discovered. On to the Yigal Alon Museum to see the ancient fishing boat from the 1st century AD discovered in 1986 on the north-west shore of the Sea of Galilee. Cruise on the Sea of Galilee (John 6:16-21; Matthew 8:23-27). We continue along the shore to Tabgha (John 6:1-15), scene of the Feeding of The Five Thousand. There are two Churches; The Church of the Multiplication on the site of the miracle, and The Franciscan Church, the church for the people poor in spirit, the meek, the pure in heart and the peace makers. Proceed to visit Capernaum (Mark 1:21-35), a lakeside village frequently referred to in the New Testament as home to St. Peter and a site built atop of a synagogue said to be where Jesus Christ preached. We continue to Mount of Beatitudes (Matthew 5:1-16), where tradition places the spot where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount.

DAY 4 YARDENIT – JERICHO – QUMRAN – DEAD SEA – JERUSALEM
YARDENIT
Proceed to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River (Matthew 3:13-19) where thousands of Christians are baptized (14) and/or renew their baptismal vows. Proceed through the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the world’s oldest town. Take a cable car to Mount of Temptation. Continue to the location of the Sycamore Tree that Zacchaeus climbed to see and hear Jesus and visit Elisha Spring (Sultan’s spring) where the Prophet sweetened the water (II Kings 2). Proceed to the Dead Sea area to visit Qumran – the site of an ancient Jewish community and before being overrun by the Romans, hid many of their scrolls in jars in the mountain caves to be discovered 1900 years later. Have a swim in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea. The sea has a high concentration of various healing chemical salts so that one cannot sink in it. Continue to Jerusalem through the Judean Wilderness to see the Good Samaritan’s Inn.

DAY 5 MOUNT OF OLIVES – ZURIM VALLEY – OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM – MOUNT ZION
We begin our pilgrimage in Jerusalem at the Mount of Olives for a spectacular panoramic view of Jerusalem and the Old City. On the slopes of the Mount of Olives are various small churches commemorating key events in Jesus’ later life including the lovely Chapel of Dominus Flevit (Luke 19:37-44) recalling the spot where Jesus wept over Jerusalem’s pending destruction. At the foot of the Mount of Olives is the Garden of Gethsemane with its eight olive trees; it was here that Jesus was arrested (Mark 14:32-52; Matthew 26:36-46). Beside the Garden is the impressive Church of All Nations. Continue to Zurim Valley located at the base of the Mount of Olives where we shall learn about the science of archeology from a professional expert and also participate in sifting the finds from the area of the Temple Mount. Enter the ‘Walled City’ through St. Stephen’s Gate and visit the Crusader Church of St. Anne, mother of Mary, and the excavated twin Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed the Crippled (John 5:1-9). Walk along the Via Dolorosa (Mark 15:21-47) to Calvary, the traditional route with its Fourteen Stations along which Jesus carried His cross. Continue following the Stations to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher built over the site of Golgotha Calvary (Matthew 27:33-62; Mark 15; 22-47; Luke 23:33-56). On to the Western Wall the last remnant of the Temple. Continue to Mount Zion and visit the Church of St. Peter in Galicantu (Caiaphas’ House), where Jesus was imprisoned and interrogated by the High Priest (Matthew 26:57-75; Mark 14:53-72). Visit the site of King David’s Tomb and the Upper Room where the Last Supper took place (Matthew 26:17-35; Mark 14:12-26; Luke 22:7-38)’s Golghotha for a Communion (john 19:38-42).

MOUNT OF OLIVES
DAY 6 ISRAEL MUSEUM – YAD VASHEM – EIN KEREM – BETHLEHEM – GARDEN TOMB
Continue to the Israel Museum to see the Shrine of the book discovered in Qumran Caves, and the Model of Jerusalem in the second Temple period. On to Yad Vashem, a living Memorial and Museum to the victims of the Holocaust. From there we will go on to Ein Kerem (Luke 1:57-80) to visit the Church of John the Baptist, erected over the grotto where he was born. Visit as well the Chapel of the Visitation, honors the visit paid by Mary Jesus’ mother to Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist. Proceed to Bethlehem (Luke 2:1-20) to visit the Church of the Nativity, Built over the traditional site of the manger where Jesus Christ was born. We visit also the Shepherd’s Field where the Angel of the lord appeared to the Shepherds on that first Christmas Eve and announced the birth of the Savior (lk.2:8-18). End the day at the Garden Tomb and Gordon’s Golgotha for a Communion (John 19:38-42).

GARDEN TOMB
DAY 7 CITY OF DAVID – HEZEKIAH’S TUNNEL – THE POOL OF SILOAM
Visit “City of David” where we can go through the Hezekiah’s Tunnel and visit the Pool of Siloam, Where Jesus gave sight to the man born blind. We walk through the Herodian Water Channel to the Western Wall and the Davidson Centre, the Jerusalem Archaeological Park with the 2000 years old Steps named after the prophetess Huldah who led to the Temple Mount during the Second Temple period. Rest of the day will be at leisure.
In the evening we shall present a “Jerusalem Pilgrim” Certificate to each pilgrim.

DAY 8 DEPARTURE
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure flight.
